When do you know to draw the line with spending money on the truck?

when you dont have any more money to spend!
racing and modding my truck and other toys is pretty much the only thing i really enjoy doing on a regular basis, so whenever i have some spare cash i usually spend it on something to do with racing. ak it a point to always put away some money every month into savings, and if i dont have anything left over fater than then i just wait to buy some more parts or go to the track or whatever. thats what works for me!

mine stopped when i bought my 2nd home and my mortgage doubled... that put the brakes on quick, then i had my 2nd child born also..... so in all reality, im glad i stopped, i enjoy having a nicer home for my family alot more..... now i hardly use the truck but i sure wont sell it cause i wont get nothing out of it, i rather let it rot in the garage before i sell it.... but its nice to jump in it when the adrenaline gets pumping and go out for a ride and do a few WOT runs, then ill come back home and store her away again.....

I can't even do that.
I thought about it a lot this weekend and I plan on just saving money for a bit till I can have play cash. Probably wont save up to much then I wont be able to do anything lol. But having some cash to fall back on is better than none.

I know how this is but I save up for a little bit then I spend it then save up again.
I will always spend money on my truck and my car but that's the fun parts about it. I'm only 19 and have invested almost as much as my dad paid for my truck. I love it and I already have reach some of my goals but then I have just raised them even more.
Maybe when I get a house and graduate from school I will slow down
a little more.
I love this hobby

Only way to do that is to find another hobby. Some hobbies are more expensive than others so choose your next hobby wisely. I got into motorcycles which isn't really an improvement but it actually is a bit cheaper.

What I did was set a "truck fund" acct at the bank. I have a small portion of my check sent into it. It adds up I buy something I want. If I get hard up for cash it comes from that acct. That way I dont let the mod bug break me! As for when it stops. As said earlier just set goals. Who cares if it takes money. Dude If you enjoy doing it then you spent your money wisely. Money comes and goes. memories are forever.... less you get alzheimer
