I live in puerto rico so i called the crazy guy with the lowered truck and some guy toll me that my truck was perfect for doing a engine swap from and obs, because the 5.7 from those trucks were better yeah there's a lot of retarded people in the island and ricers

 

We were at a truck club meet( not our club) a few months ago and I had my hood opened ,one of that club member said " you have a 6.0 LS1".

 

^lol you shouldve told that guy who called your 6.0 an ls1 you swapped over to rx7 valve cover gaskets and picked up another 20 horse at the wheels

 

I used to have a centrifugal supercharger on my truck. I took it to a monthly car gathering.
I had it parked with the hood up and a couple of guys come over to look at it. I overheard the one ask the other while pointing at the super, "What kind of alternator is that?"

They couldn't figure out why I had such a beefed up electrical system for one little 10" sub and a single amp.....

 

Sitting in line at Burger King and one of their employees asks me, "Hey has your truck been lowered?" (my truck has a 4/8 drop) and the ironic thing is that there was a stock height RCSB right behind me.

 

My buddy asks me on an almost daily basis why I keep spending so much time and money trying to build a fast truck. He drag races a Camaro and just can't figure out why anyone would want to spend so much time and money trying to make a truck fast.

 

because it's fun!!!

 

Plus it embarasses ppl a lot more when you beat them in a truck compared to a camaro or trans am lol.

 

Why are your trucks lowered?

 

With the SS I constantly get "That's got a 454, right?" AND "That came from the factory with a supercharger, right?"

Last time I took my truck in for an alignment when I went to pick the truck up the guy at the shop says to me

HIM: "You should have your transmission looked at or rebuilt, it slips really bad in reverse and 1st gear..."
ME: My transmission is just fine, its fully built with a 3000 stall converter.
HIM: I don't know man, it slips really bad, I had trouble getting it into the shop and back out when we got done...I think your transmission is fried.
ME: Okay man, I'll look into it.
Did a nice little awd "drift" out of their parking lot because he was still standing outside when I left just to make sure my tranny wasn't slipping

I have a ton more but don't feel like typing them all out right now, lol.
