Hey,
I'm 19 right now, in the process of becoming a firefighter.. But in the meantime, I need a job that will pay like 2-2500/month to get a sweet truck. Eventually crushing Parish...
Do any of you have any temp jobs or are there any wise elders here with a little advice?

Does being 46 make me an elder? Oh, but you wanted a wise one
You have a goal, and that is a start. I have had numerous careers. I went from dishwasher to restaurant manager, deckhand to ship's master and pallet wrapper to my current position as quality engineer.
What I'm getting at is find something that interests you and excel in it, set small goals and complete them. Good luck!

Take a class and go get your welding certificates.
You can get a job that pays 22 - 27 bucks an hour.
get on a turn around or a shut down and you will make
Close to 2500 a week.
But since your trying to be a firefighter.
grab your uniform and apply to the strip a gram place
and let the ladies stick 2 or 3 hundred in your string
For wiggling your ***.

If you live by a harbor Join a Union like the ILWU. You can get paid 35-50 bucks an hour doing the stupidist and easiest jobs imaginable. Most of the guys don't have a HS degree either. Only problem is it's pretty hard to get in but some people do.

I'm a senior Biochemistry major at Oklahoma State University. I just put my application in to a few medical schools and now I'm waiting to hear back from them somtime this winter so I won't be making any money in my chosen career for a while. However, I do enjoy poker and I guess I'm good enough to make a little money at it to pay for go-fast parts and put a little cushion in the bank and retirement accounts.
