Default Went dumpster diving!!

Look at all this stuff!! Some will call BS on me, but all this stuff was in a few dumpsters. Apparently the place is a diesel/truck supply store, some of these items were still in packages with minor dings and dents. Some are still perfect. I could not, and still don't know why they are throwing all this **** away. Look at that damm connecting rod!!!, think its from a cummings because allot of the lifters and other engine parts were marked with cummings . The orange crate its sitting on is over a foot wide.
There were turbo charger housings that looked like theigh weiged 100lbs or more, HUGE stuff.
This is just a small sample of what I got, some is actually useable for my truck, like the 3.5" exhaust pipes, the resevoir tank with the radiator cap on it, and the big *** filter with the sealed shroud around it.
I am going back tomorrow for more of the same with a diesel mechanic to see if anything is worth taking as far as all the heads, exhaust manifolds and other heavy duty diesel parts.
I still can't beleive this crap!?

That filter may get you 50-60$ i would buy it if i had the money those paper filter flow like 800cfm and it would look nice as a custom intake due to the fact it looks factory well sort of.

Yeah dumpsters are gold for some stuff. I have done that at a local building supply store, I got brand new shelving in box, brand new flourecent light fixtures in box, brand new coleman spot light with charger, brand new sawzall in box with blades. Plus tons of other little crap. Im going to hit up the local engine shop next

A little to consider. Don't get caught in the spotlight of a cruiser and tell the badge "um, I found this new, in the box, tool in the dumpster". You might have a problem. A common method of employee theft is using the dumpster. Additionally, the contents of the dumpster still belong to the business until it's picked up. Just to let you know what the cop or store managers view may be if they catch you. Use discretion.
