yesterday at UofH i saw shorts, t-shirts,and flip-flops on about a dozen people walkin around campus just not givin a ****. blew my mind

Yeah cuz it's not that cold out :p the ice is fun to slide around on and meh, I don't even own winter clothes :p

Girls around here are still rockin the spandex pants, which I can appreciate...but definitely no shorts. lol

houston airports are canceling flights, and UofH just sent me a text message saying that classes after 2pm today are canceled. WTF its only 31*

You Texas guys better watch out... wind chills down to 1* in El Paso, I think they were saying wind chills down to 5-8*F for Dallas/FW

with rolling black outs in houston. the city cant supply enough energy for everyones heaters so they are shutting down blocks for 45-60 minutes at a time.

just received an email from UH and my bank, saying due to freezing temperatures and the possibility of frozen rain/snow, they will be closing tomorrow.
my buddies friend at penn state is pissed because she has been walking to classe in a foot and a half of snow all week with no closures

My office on the Island closed today @ 3:00pm, and tomorrow the office is closed for the day.
