dmelvin said this year hasn't been too bad, but last year he'd go start truck & mirror would read -17, -21 & even had a -23. Now, I know those are in F, not Celsius.

I thought freezing point was 32°F / 0° C. It must be different in Canada, eh? :nunchuk1:

Now that some funny chit right there.

L33Z71, some of us northerners can't stand this. If I wasn't born, raised here, tied to my job & family, I'd be in KY. And even there, it doesn't guarantee me away from this stuff, as my TX boys have told me.

Be safe people. Here, we got ~1', temps round 16°, w/c's were 0° -5°. Crappy 25-30 winds made snow removal fun.

This winter stuff is for the birds. And I didn't see any of them, altho a few days ago, they certainly found my truck.

I'm with Curtis.. this sucks.Hell driving into work this morning (Galveston Island) the flat waters of Bayou Vista had a sheet of ice laying over it.

Guys you have to know that the cold here at the Gulf is a humid cold, so it bites a little.

It seems like you should have to buy a special thermometer to measure that low. I don't care if it is that cold, I don't wanna know about it.

Nope, it's the same, I'm talking in degrees F for you yanks. It was 50 below Celcius the other day, last night coming home from the Finger Eleven concert it was minus 4, and today it's supposed to be 0. It's nuts.

I'm about done with it. Even here in Tucson, the wind chill is bringing it down to like 1°F... Riding a bicycle around campus all day in this weather gets old.
