Default Veteran's SS#'s Stolen

Not truck related, but where the hell have I been?!?!?!? Anybody else read this?

I have already put a check block on the credit bureaus. Nobody can access my credit or get new credit without my acknowledgement. Better safe than sorry. If anybody steals your credit you WILL be sorry. I have quiet a bit of experience with crap creditors F-ing stuff up...if you haven't read this story and taken action, all veterans as myself should IMO. The chances of something happening to YOU is unlikely, but somethig will happen to somebody. I know I am related to Mr. Murphy.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs confirmed May 22 that records for every veteran discharged from the military since 1975 were stolen from the home of an agency employee. The records contained the names, Social Security numbers and dates of birth of the veterans and some spouses.

I got my letter from the VA the other day. In reading it the VA sounded like "oh well, if something happens to you credit we're not gonna do anything".

That's what I am saying! My wife sent me an email concerning the letter (she's an RB for BB&T bank) saying that she had one of co-workers put the stops on our credit since i haven't said anything. I was like, what? She said...and I quote.."WHat F-ing Planet do you visit when you aren't around me? This has been going for a month now!"

LOL Oh, well...now if the news was someone stole the laptop of Larry Flint, that I'd probably hear about right away. LOL

Did you read that article? They act like it's not that big of a deal. Why you ask? Because they have SO MANY #'s!!! Instead of a few they have millions. Sad.
