My vaca starts on Feb. 26 & extends 1 wk thereafter. Here's the deal, my sis took my bro a few yrs ago to Alaska. And since then, she's been wanted me to go on a vaca somewhere.

She asked where I wanted to go. I said somewhere warm like FL, TX or CA. I said, and you? She wants to go to see the Grand Canyon. So I said sure. But in checking weather average temps then, it depends on where you're at: the upper rim, lower rim, & I believe they call it the inner canyon. Lows are like 21-48, hi's 52-71, again depends on which of the 3 areas you're in.

So-o-o-o, has anyone been there at those times? Or live near there?

Ideally, I wanna be wearing shorts the whole time I'm on vaca. That said, can anyone in warm parts of U.S. (my friends in southern states) give me some ideas on where they'd go to wear shorts & what kinda things could I go to see / do?

And in what state???!!!

She says she doesn't wanna go to FL (my 1st idea) since she went there 2x last yr. And yes, I could wear shorts the whole time w/. lows in 60's, highs in the / near 80's.

So if u want to, give some props to your state, but back it up w/. stuff to do, weather, & the city.

Unfortunately, not just yet. Hawaii is down the road. I wanna stay in lower 48 or somethin near here. What else ya got?

I definitely wanna hit Hawaii. It's on my bucket list.

 

The LS1truck shootout is that weekend your vacation starts, cant guarantee shorts type weather but this weekend the high was 77 and 80 so it gets warm here, why the hell you think Im down here? I couldnt live up there in the north like you crazies

 

Anywhere on the coast of cali you can wear shorts your whole vacation..

I figured u were down there, cause they didn't want u in any of the other states.

I don't like it hot or humid, so I couldn't live in TX. Well, actually, we get hot & humid, but not like there. This cold **** & snow isn't all it's cracked up to be. I dislike it more ea. year. Been like that for almost 20yrs.

Now, we're talkin. What's to do there?

 

Denton, my internet home pg. just had a vacation special blurb. I saw Hawaii. It'd be ~$1k. But man, IDK how crazy I am about 15 hr. flight ea. way. But the wheels in my head are turning. Also thought of Bahamas or somewhere like that. I haven't traveled very much. Maybe I should go see my PT.net boys in Cali.
