I don't remember, pretty sure I didn't know about it when I had plans to get the 2500HD.

NOW you just need to pull some strings and get me in touch with some people that can GET me one NOW!!!

I'll write reviews or whatever I have to do(to a certain point )

If I didnt have plans for a travel trailer and a nice boat, along with needing to be able to tow a decent amount of stuff to the deer lease I would be on one in a heart beat. I bet one of these things in ecsb form could run mid 14s stock, would make for a nice DD if I didnt already have a company truck

Of course you never know, I still might end up with a 2500HD instead of one of these. They are NICE!!!

SWEET!!! Just make sure you're ready to keep a black truck looking good.

I have a company truck that I use to run errands in also, my Z71 only gets used for out of town trips or when I just felt like driving it. So its a safe bet the new truck wouldnt be driven unless it was pretty outside since Im lazy and hate washing my truck

If I find a good deal on a silver birch metallic I may not be opposed to getting one of those but black will be my first choice it just looks to good when its clean

Canyon or 2500HD, kind of opposite ends of the spectrum, why such a difference in vehicle choice?

Well, there is the side of me that wants something NICE and comfortable that is decently quick(low 13's-high 12's). This would be the 2500HD.

Then there is the side of me that wants a lighter V8 truck to go just a little quicker than what's above.

In the end I'd probably be happier with the 2500HD but............

Just a FYI, i didn't read your whole thread, but my brother just bought a 07 Colorado a couple weeks ago and I was curious what it weighs so I ran it over the scales, 3.7 I5, CC, 4x4, stock 15" allum wheels tipped the scales at 4200lbs full of gas so I would guess same thing with a V8 would be a few hundred pounds heavier.

A full size bed would be much more beneficial to your line of work IMO, and the 2500HD is more utilitarian for any other needs. The mid size trucks just have such small beds and low tow ratings which is understandable for their target market they arent for everyone. A canyon with a radix, cam, tune, and built trans would be a nice little ride with great mpg but do you really need all the space of a full size or could you get away with a quicker midsize. You could always pull a trailer REEEAAAALLLY fast with the canyon

Oh, trust me, I've been fighting with this decision now for a while. If I go with the Canyon I'd probably buy a year or two old work van also. The 2500HD is the better all around choice for sure.
