TRUE drinking AND driving laws
#32
Had a case of empties sitting in my cab last winter. I couldn't open the tonneau because it had ice on it and I couldn't lift it. So I put the case in the cab, to drive it into town to return the empties. About a 2 minute drive, there was a ride check so I thought "****". I pulled up, cop says where you headed, have you been drinking. Told him I had a case of empties I was dropping off at the store, and they were in the cab because I couldn't lift my tonneau.
He made me take a breathalyzer, do the DUI dance and everything. Let me off with a warning. Said If I registered anything on the breather I would have had my truck impounded and slapped with a DWI. The ride check was about 50 feet before the beer store as well, I should have just stopped the truck and walked up. But it was cold.
Even tho there is a legal limit in Ontario. It comes down to about one drink per hour, you can get away with. Depending on weight, of course.

I wish my driveway had 200 parking spaces in it. LOL
That story is way past what I am getting at though. Plus, he just looks like a freaking criminal. I would NEVER leave the scene. NEVER. If they pulled me over on my hour ride home I would never fail a breathalyzer.

Josh, are you aware that many citizens in PA interpret the law as meaning no open beverage containers (as in anything at all) One of my instructors brought this up and I have found it to be true... Kinda funny.
Dumbasses think you cant drink pop and drive a car cuz its a open container..
