I have(had) a Husky roller box and a Craftsman box, both with ball bearing drawers.
I rep the craftsman right now, because I had to husky in the back of my truck and had to do a vicious, vicious braking/turn procedure and threw it out of the back of the bed. Catwalked over the bed rail, nicked my ste, hit the ground, and bent to ****. Had to plasma cut it open, because the drawers weren't open.
Thing was a bitch, I had 2 tie downs on it, still haven't figured out why it flew out. I liked both boxes.
I think TSC sells international boxes. Guy I used to work with had a big fugger, about 60 ish inches wide, real nice and held lots of chit.

Quick story. My dad sold a guy a tool in 1993, he had it for 4 years prior, the guy, (i know work with) traded it in march for a bigger box, he got 5700 for it. I guess the point. Tool box's hold their value. I paid (am paying i guess) 7200 for my snap on box. I asked what i could get for it now (its 2 years old) I can get 7200 for it. Got to love the no depreciation. As far as tools, they seem to be going south in value. S K seems to be the best right now IMO....rant over.

i honestly believe the quality of mac, matco and snap on are all equivelent. it just depends on your taste. they all have different styles that some like or dont like. i personally dont care for mac, or snap on boxes. i really like the style of the matco, thats why i bought one. they are all very good quality.

I own two snap-on boxes and most of my tools are the same. I find them to be the most expensive but the best of the ones mentioned. I feel if you use them every day, do not go cheap. From what I have heard from my Matco guy their boxes are stronger than the snap on boxes.

I have had my snap on now for about 7 year and love it. I make my living out of that box so I had to have the best. When I purchace my house thoe I will not be able to justify spending $7k for a tool box to sit in the garage and not get used daily like the work one. I really like the Craftman profesional series. they are well built. You can also look at the proto they make a nice one, they are made by waterlo (sp).
