So to make a long story short...

From about the time I was 17 (had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled then) I never went back to the dentist up until about 3 years ago (I'm 28 now). I had 2 upper right rear teeth pulled, and 1 upper left rear pulled because they were in such bad shape.

Found out yesterday my jaw is collapsing and my lower teeth are rising up out of the gums because there is no pressure from the top teeth not being there.

Need a sinus lift on both sides... $1,500/side. 3 implants... $1,900 ea. For a grand total of $8,700 and that's before my x-rays i'll be getting tomorrow and my dentist puts the crowns on lol.

Guess no Camaro in the spring haha!


Moral of the story children... do not **** around when it comes to your teeth... or health in general for that matter. Whether you have dental insurance or not... get your damn cleanings every 6 months, it's like $80 if that.

i go every 6 months. nothing less attractive than a F'ed up grille.

 

Funny... I just had my 6 month cleaning done today. Have to get a small filling soon because of the way my tooth is shaped. Has one tiny crevice that my tooth brush cant get in.


My dentist always tells me the main concern is gum disease and stuff like that. Or any kind of infection since it could easily spread up to the brain.


So, if no camaro, does that mean the blue truck is off the market???

Tongue and lip Piercing's are something to avoid as well. They destroy your gums and wear the enamel away. I have to go every 3-4 months.

 

The thing that pisses me off the most is since I've had those teeth pulled I've religiously gone to the dentist since... in that time I've had my yearly x-rays done and the dentist just tells me now (based on a 6 month old x-ray) I need this done asap. I've always seen the same dentist up until yesterday... he was out of the office and his sister did the exam and told me this. She couldn't believe he didn't recommend this to me asap.

In the end, nobody is to blame but me... I just wish he would have told me sooner rather than "Oh you won't start to have problems with the tooth rising up for at least 20 years" lol.

Nah truck is still on the market I'm ready for something different either way... just might be a longer wait than I would have liked. I'm still kicking around the idea of a G-body LS conversion. I'd love to do something older but it's just too damn expensive to even get in to a roller Nova/Camaro that doesn't need a ton of body work, whereas I can find Regal's and Cutty's all day for under $4k in great shape.

 

Man I need to go to the dentist bad lol I haven't in about 7 years reason is I can't sit still! Disorder issue , sucks .... I need to go and ask to give me the gas or something lol

Im 24 and had all 4 wisdom teeth yanked out in july. But i take very good care of my teeth, never had a cavity.

I used to go to a regular dentist, but it got to expensive. Now i go to UF in gainesville they have this student dental clinic where you get cleanings for $15

Oh and its a good way to meet chicks who are studying LOL
