comeing back from hooters sat. afternoon, me and my buddy decided to go test drive a car before we went back home. so we pulled into a ford dealer and ask a salesman if they had any cobras. He said no but they had an 04 mach 1. I know it is just a mustang, but here is what happened next.

anyways so we are talking to the salesman, and convinced him to lets us take it for a RIDE. so we were go for about 20 mins, untill the car was about out of gas. we didn't do to much wile we were out that time, a few smokey burnouts, and double clutched a couple of time, enought to get the cluth good and hot.

Well we took it back to the dealer, and was talkin to the sales man, and my buddy goes, hey my wife would like to see the car, what do we have to do to go show her. and This moron said, let me go get a gas slip, we close at 6. it was like 3. so yeah, free gas, and a mach 1 that is not ours. Way to go stupid.

We tore that thing up, 130 down the highway, racing a 05 gt , double cluthing it at 50 just to see what would happen. We got sideways coming from a light about hit a caddy. and they best a dig to a hundred, tire smoking through 3rd not once but 3 times.

we got done and the brand new tires were half gone, and the clutch was slipping. So the morale of the story.

don't buy a red mach 1 in the chesapeake area.

oh yeah, and if some one comes in your car lot in a lighting, you might want to ride with them, on the test drive

Why where you double clutching?

ya know you only had to do that for up and downshifts on old manuals right?

Or when downshifting from speed on newer models to prevent wear on the synchros?
