Yea we all saw the dyno claiming 25hp but the temp was way colder and no telling if the dyno was recailbrated from his previous dynos that it was compared to.

Track times to prove the gains would be great if someone could post just the intake swap and retune timeslips.

Reason i ask is because i did the swap and lost at the track with my old setup, also mhotrodscooter did it on his 6.0 setup and didnt see any gains.

Everybody claims gains with these intake swaps but i have talked with about 5 others who havent gained anything by doing the swap,so i am not the only one who saw no improvement.

That's all I wanted to know. I have a major 5.3 build in the works and that sounds right up my alley. Cant wait to get back to the states to start my build.

I see what you are saying but it is def a gain over the standard truck intake. Diff runner and design, also the addition of a bigger TB. . I will have to look on my lap top when I get home. I have a few links from other sites with the before and afters, in similar conditions..

Before we jump the gun...what cams are you guys using with these intakes who have seen gains / lost gains / saw no improvement??

I think that would have a good bit to do with it.

Like slowswb...When you say big cam, how big are we talkin?

Maybe a dumb question that has been answered before but has anyone sent a tbss mani of to be ported the way people do the FAST? Would it be possible or even worth the price/hp gain compared to ordering a fast?
