hey my friend was telling me about this stimulus package where every one gets 600 bucks. wtf, is it true? just straight up everyone gets it?

If you filed taxes this year is what I hear, also heard it more like an advance on your next years tax return so you pay it back. Short term "solution" as I see it.

There's a ton of beuracratic bullshit surrounding it... you wont see the money even if you qualify until later on this year... probably around August'ish from what I understand...

What they're hoping for with the $600 is that ppl will spend it instead of paying off credit card bills, and we all know there's no gty there.
