This thing looks insane. 0-60 in 2.3, trapping a 9.65 at 140ish. It's comes with a damn set of drag radials from the factory!!! The AC system apparently cools the intercooler which seems to be the first system of its kind on a production vehicle, can run both pump and race fuel.

I love it. I think they did a great job. The numbers are staggering.

IMO this thing completely dwarfs the fact that jeep unveiled a 707hp grand cherokee last night

the jeep will run 11.6 at 116 btw. Impressive for a stock SUV for sure. It gives some of us PT guys a run for our money.

 

Its pretty cool thats a factory option. Normal vehicles can run race gas also just fine, just wont get any benefit without upping the timing.

The bad thing is its going to cost $100k probably. Be real easy to take a $40k camaro or charger or whatever and dump $60k in it and be a whole lot faster.

 

I heard the hellcat's had terrible vibrations and the interior was of poor quality. I suspect the demon will have the same issues.

Too much, well that depends if they sell. What I do like is that they are pushing the boundaries and maybe it will make GM do the same. I am hearing of a 427 NA Gt500 also. We also have the LT5 coming. Could be some cool motors.

 

Only 3000 for the 2018 model year being made for the US and 300 for Canada. So wont see any outside of collectors garages for a couple years I'm guessing.
