Default selling the truck

do yall think i could get more money for my truck if i completely demodded it and sold all my mods off apart from the truck, or if i sold the truck as is?

im putting the truck in the body shop next week to get some crap on it fixed and a few door dings pulled out and then i'll be listing it....i'd love to keep it, but im gonna go ahead and get out before i start blowing some serious money and breaking stuff left and right since my truck is a DD and i cant afford to buy another DD an only drive my truck on the weekends....so, time to move on

He's asking if he could get more money for his truck from your average Joe buyer if he puts it back to stock

What mods do you have? I'm not familiar with your truck.

It all depends on what market you wanna advertise in. 95% of potential buyers won't care for performance mods done to it because they'll just want a truck to have a truck. The rest might see it as worth it to buy a modded truck. You just have to find the right buyer if you try to sell it with mods.

im about to start making some money fishing tournaments and i need a dependable truck to pull my boat....also, going fast just isnt as fun to me anymore....ive been keeping the cutout closed and granpa-ing around lately.....it was fun getting somewhat fast, and now i just want something a bit better on gas and with more towing power and more dependable....

Copy Coreys setup, it will tow great and be very reliable but still pretty damn quick. If youre set on getting rid of it though you will need to part it out, atleast that way you can sort of get some of your mod money back otherwise youre just throwing it away. mods dont add to resale value out in the real world.
