Well looking at the specs on schd 40 and 80 PVC, it looks like it get ALOT weeker as the temp goes up... I was planning on running the lines into the attic, and attics in texas get FREAKING HOT!
it says the max temp is 140* so I guess PVC in the attic is out...

Looking at that conversion it looks like i will be at the max operating threshold during the summer...

Yeah most will say not to use it because it is brittle ect. But at our old shop we had PVC that had air to it all the time and it was still working fine after 15 years. Now in my new shop i used black pipe but i only needed twenty feet to run to the hose reel.
Most importantly make sure you setup your drops so that they drain properly. And put in a good water separator and filter. I use the Motorguard M80 filters and i wont get a single drop of water out of the air lines even in the humid weather.

Tylers runs down the sides of the shop and has a few hookups along the way so you can put the hose in multiple spots.
Should holla at hime and see if he'll get you specifics and pics. Damn nice setup.

I say PVC. sch80 would be nice, but sch40 would be fine. Cheap, easy to work with. You'd have to be an idiot to screw it up.
PEX is nice stuff, but its more of a pain to work with. You have to worry about the joints leaking if you don't crimp then correctly.
Copper would probably be the best, but cost is an issue.
