Your PM makes a lot more sense now, I was a bit confused about the whole being in mourning thing(I was viewing the PM via email and the pic didn't load). Killeen is right down the road from me, I coulda checked it out for you. Its too bad this happened AFTER you went to all the work of the 8 lug half ton swap. Sounds my kinda luck. Glad to hear you and your little lady are safe, that's the main thing. That 2500 is going to be a friggin tank and work great for your useage though.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. The story is I had picked up my daughter from school and we were on our way to Orlando to visit with my son. It was raining at the time and everyone was actually driving in a sane manner as we approached the outskirts of Orlando. There is a major toll both on SR528 adjacent to the Orlando Airport. Two express lanes (for people with transponders like me) on the left and four stop and pay booths on the right. I am in a long line of vehicles approaching the express lane and noticed that the guy in front of me has Alabama plates and is either cheating the system or just isn't paying attention. We all trail thru the express lane at about 35 mph and start to pick up speed. About 25 yards after the booth he must have realized he was suppose to pay a toll and hits his brakes!
If I didn't slam on my brakes I was going to rear end him, If I did the Semi following sure wasn't going to stop until he hit me. The only option was an abrupt lane change but unfortunately my rear traction let go. I was correcting fine until I saw a car a few lanes to the right cutting across in front of me racing to get to the fast lane. This ended my 'corrections' and the Tahoe quickly started spinning beyond control. This is the first rain we have had in some time so the roads are loaded with oil. I yelled to my daughter who was reading a book to hang on as I reached back to brace here chest. Mind you we were only going probably 45 mph at this time but the tires just wouldn't grab, that is until we slid off the road sideways into a low spot of soft soil while taking out a 55 mph road sign. The tires on my side dug in and that was the launch of a fairly slow motion flip. For a second I thought it was going to come back down but no. It went on the roof and then began a silky smooth ride on the wet grass and then spun 360 just before stopping.
I popped my seat belt and came down pretty hard. I could see my daughter hanging but she was okay. I tried to find the key to turn everything off because the wipers were still going and I had just filled up my tank. Not so easy to find when you are inverted and disoriented. I managed to get my legs out the widow and position myself under her. Got her out without a hitch but have lots of glass in my underwear. She was a real trooper and didn't get scared and emotional until about five minutes later when it all sunk in. Thank God we are strict about seat belts. The only mark on her was a seat belt rub. I got an x-ray of my shoulder in the morning and the result is a inflamed rotator cuff.
