I have a friend who is a huge bond fan... has seen every bond movie ever made, said this one was the worst by far... if you liked Casino Royale... you will hate this, it is the exact opposite.

several critics have said -

"BORING..."

"Mark Forster took possession of a franchise and completely screws it up..."

anyone going to see this one? I think i will wait for bluray...

that's extremely disappointing. the adds make it look like the best bond yet, as does the plot. i'll still go see it, i never listen to critics.

 

critics opinions to me are generally worthless, same with the hardcore bond fans, because they all go to a movie exspecting it to be the best movie ever made and come out extremely disappointed even though in reality it was a good movie. Ill probably see it soon

 

Thats funny because I have a buddy who is a huge bond fan as well and he said its the best one he has seen yet. He said it was nothing but "BADASSNESS." His word not mine. Me and my female are gonna go see it tonight. I love Bond films. I have seen neerly all of them (not a Roger Moore fan) and I'm pretty sure this one will be good.

OK, please tell us WHY you did not like the movie?

Power browsing online reviews I found "too little depth and too much action", and I have never felt that way about any movie, but that is my taste.

I guess I'm just an action and adrenaline junkie.

 

Casino Royale was the best Bond movie I can remember. It completely redeemed the franchise IMHO.

Anyone remember the ones with Timothy Dalton, didn't think so!!! Those were so horrible that even Pierce Brosnan was better. Only thing I didn't care for about Pierce was it always seemed there was some big name Hollywood actress playing the Bond girl. I don't like that. I like movies with unique and new actors/actresses. Once you watch someone in a bunch of different films it's tough to "get into their characters" in something like a Bond film.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

 

i hear ya, i hated Halle Berry in that bond flick. she just didn't cut the role for me. to be honest never liked her as an actress anyway, i prefer stillframe shots of her.

 

i think halle berry is ugly.

she has man hair.

 

yea but when her hair was long she was smokin.

i agree about the short hair thing though. gross.
