My shop is similar in size, 26x60... unfortunately the building isnt zoned for automotive repair so I cant install a lift... yes, jack stands are my friend lol. Other than that it works out pretty well.
As for storage, I went to costco and got a few of their heavy duty racks, and just store stuff on there, but I have more **** piling up, but once I take all of the pending truck parts off, I should have a ton of room left.
I would look into costco for storage racks - $70 give or take... they can hold up to 1500lbs.

It's all in the wording...call it a Storage Lift for double stacking cars.

I love these "post your shop" threads, always love checkin out other peoples' shops and gear. I don't have a shop now, but a garage that houses all of my shop tools for the time being, until I get divorced and move on. I just got done moving all my crap about 2 months ago and early next year I'll have to move it again
Moving my big tool box (I say big one since I have a small one and some side boxes also) is deadly, I need a flat bed or a lift gate, and it gets scary using the lift gate!
