Default Photo ***** Thread

I saw this on another forum and since I know we do have at least a few avid photographers here figured to have a go with it (plus I'm a ham and like to show off) Post up your best/favorite works!

I took these over Christmas weekend at Lake Tahoe CA/NV

Someday I will get a quality camera, and then learn how to use it. That would be fun, and the pics would be alot nicer. These were just taken with a Sony point & shoot digital clunker, in the rain. Maybe after the kids are all grown up & moved out.....

You can do fine with a cheap camera, it's really not so much the cam that makes the pic. Do you use PS or another editing software? Sometimes I can take a crappy pic and get a jewel out of it with careful editing.

Editing software? No, I never even thought of that. I just load them into my computer, then to photobucket. I think I have it set to resize them to "medium" or something like that. I'm really an idiot at this stuff. If I bought a good camera, I'd probably need to take a class so I could learn what to do.

for sure. I want to take a class and I've been using PS for 10 years and still don't have it dialed. It's like tuning, you can never know too much.
