Arrow PATENT FEE's Any body have a clue??

I have looked and have came up with everything from 300-3k+$ to get one.. I am going to talk to my lawyer and see if he can give me any helpful info, but I fig I would ask here first as the site is pretty freaking big... Me and a buddy have a ( what we think) pretty good idea) I have not seen this before, think it will def work for alot of people So any info would be great.. I seen sites that you give the info to, but I do not need somebody to steal our idea.. Thanks

have you checked out legal zoom or whatever it's called to help filing the patent. I don't think the filing is to expensive but you have to detail your patent.

I checked with a few places and my balancer tool was going to be $6k-$10k depending on which place I looked at.

LuckyNapkin dot com is getting popular with the "working joe" on patents and launching a new idea / product. No experience with them however hear great things.

Apply for a provisional patent, they're much cheaper, and I believe easier to get. Most of your fee will be to a lawyer to do a patent search.

Do a poor mans patent and make it then mail it to yourself but dont open the box. I have heard of musicians doing that for copyrights. Not sure if it applies to patents.

Mail it to yourself. If u ever challenge a patent they will go off the time stamp.
