did any of you guys see that electric powered s-10 last night on pass time?

he ran a low 13 in the 1/4...... maybe i went the wrong direction with my mods? i think he had 30 batteries on board or something like that.

I didnt see it, but it sure is loooking like super quiet electric cars are in everyones future, Ill have to get a good sound system to play my loud fake rumbling v8 noises in the futur

 

Yeah, I saw it. The truck only weighed 3400 lbs. too!! I hate to say it but battery powered vehicles will probably be a new class in the future of drag racing.

 

yep, most people don't understand how powerful a electric motor is. While it may have only been "23" hp, the torque is insane and electric motors make the same torque from 1 rpm to max rpm. Only problem is for us guys who work on jobsites and regularly go thru 15" or more of water. Also, toyota has sucked up the hybrid battery marked for the next 3 to 4 years.
