all the import guys most be in heaven. I cant imagine no more vetts or cts-v's killing the imports. Price on those cars will sky-rocket and become nice collector pcs.

So the SS Camaro isn't available yet, are they going to stop it mid production? This is assinine and a shitty solution IMO. If you want to cut costs, clean house. Firing white colar engineers and blue workers isn't the answer. Neither is moving production overseas. But then again getting paid $30/hr to install a dipstick tube is kind of ridiculous. Couple that with what the execs make and you have a recipe for disaster. It's a shame to see the performance cars go since things were just started to get good again.

I don't see why they couldn't produce a 500+hp caddy. Just throw some batteries and motor in it and call it a hybrid. It'd still be quick and it would keep Uncle Sam happy.

Do GM a favor and buy the Volt when and if it comes out. It's the only chance GM has.

I would imagine that their is some sort of "grandfather clause" to keep the current V & SS models around, just no development on future models. Sucks. Guess any hope for a 500+hp Z28 is gone.

They could keep all those special interest vehicles around, but they'd have to cut some of the beni's and pensions that thousands of old people are still living off of. Why should we (younger people/generations) have to suffer with shitty crossover type cars bought by indecisive asshats because old farts want to stay alive and fat on thier +80% pay pensions. Ugh!
