What opinions do you guys have on oil brands? I searched it and didn't see anything about it. Majority of my stuff gets Castrol because thats what my dad always used.........Mobil 1 always went in the last truck. What do you guys run?

 

Whichever oil you run, do you prefer one over the other more if its a conventional or synthetic?

 

Vegetable Oil!! lol naw i used valveoline for a long time and since im going turbo ima use rotella

 

Royal Purple, for the first time.

 

Castrol in everything I own..

Ran Castrol for years but have switched everything to Amsoil in the past year. Why, it just made me feel better I guess.

 

I've ran Castrol conventional in everthing I've ever owned. At 90k I'm thining about high milage oil but I'm not sure if it's needed. (Or worth it, or what the point is at all)

Also run a Lucas oil additive.

 

For conventional, I really like Castrol GTX.

For synthetic, I run anything but Royal Purple and Amsoil. Can't justify their ridiculous prices...

edit: voted penzoil(synthetic) because it's cheap and stays clean longer than others

 

Mobil 1 , full syn , extn per, just make me and my engine feel good!
