Ok... so the long anticipated Transformers 2 - Revenge of the Fallen, opens next Wednesday. Some theaters will have midnight screenings on Tuesday.
I was never much into sci-fi flicks but with cool cars and one of the hottest chicks on the planet (except for her thumbs lol) I had to see the first one, and yea, im a fan.

This next one runs 2hr20min and the budget was increased to 200 million dollars, 50 million more than the first film.

There is an IMAX version which is reportedly a long version with longer robot fighting scenes... not sure if this is accurate.

Bumble Bee is now represented as the 2010 production model SS camaro, no longer the prototype as in the first film... he has been rebuilt stronger.

TF1 took 20 Terabytes of disk space. TF2 took 145 Terabytes. Seven times bigger!

3 full scenes were shot in IMAX... similar to the opening scenes of The Dark Knight

During the filming - Shia Lebouf got in a serious car accident (offset) and his hand was severely injured, almost stopping production. The entire movie had to be rearranged and world class specialist and doctors had to come in and devise a special kevlar cast for him... he almost lost usage of his hand for life, but continued to shoot the movie.

wow, not sure why I spent the last 30+ minutes on this thread hahaha...
I do have my VIP tickets for wednesday 1230pm (theater down the street has a vip lounge - seats are love seats (huge) they serve alcohol, free popcorn, no one under 21 allowed, and full bar and grill service - best of all - reserved seating purchased online, you can show up 5 minutes before the movie starts and your seat is waiting.

That sounds like a pretty cool movie theater!! Justin can't wait to see this, I just hate going to the theaters now-a-days. Spend money to listen to people on their phones, texting, getting up and down...

at least he got devastator right this time, i was really hoping to the six turn in to one
in the first movie, very disapointed when i seen the tank roll out.
i wonder if in #3 he will bring in the dino bots.
