Default now this is exciting. going to build a nice garage

been talking about a killer garage for many years now. it looks like i will have the cash for the shell. i applied for a permit on thursday and am hoping to get the footings in this year still. need to cut down a large tree and move a fence too. i am very excited probably take awhile to get this project done.

Looks great! I can't wait until I retire and can settle in to the home I stay in... I have a few big plans for my shop and land.

Will there be a lift in there?

pretty cool, building **** is fun as long as ya have the cash to keep it going. I like how ya did a kick out room instead of going with a deep garage. Looks like it will work better for the property layout. Good luck with permitting. LOL

Looks great. I would highly recommend 12' ceiling in one bay at least for a 2 post lift. It is the best addition to a shop i've ever done and you can get an american made Bend Pak off of e-autolifts.com for around $2500 delivered. I recommend the extra wide A-semetric.

Most clear floor lifts are 11' 6". I don't recommend a low ceiling lift with the stabalizing cables along the floor since they get in the way of a tranny jack etc. Besides you won't be able to lift a truck or SUV high enough with 10' ceilings. If all you worked on were vette's there'd be no problem.

Very nice shop, I like how it wont look like your convential steel building. I can't wait until another year or so to buy my own place and start building a nice shop.
