To avoid holes in the wall just get huge sheets of that foamy Thumb Tac board stuff and use it like a wall paper on that wall.
+1 on the pinball machine, i figured it would be out of the price range tho.
you could just put a couple bean bag chairs and put a bottle of N20 in the middle of the room. But that's a lil out of price range too.

you can build a stripper pole easily........
1- 2 1/2-3 inch 8-10 foot pole (go to home depot)
1- 5 gallon bucket
2- bags of cement
add plywood to build base
cut the top off the bucket to where it stands roughly 12-14 inches tall
mix the concrete in a bucket
set pole inside. trick here is to use a level and get it straight....
then cut a hole in a piece of plywood and place it over top
use some cheap 2x4 to build a sturdy frame roughly a 5'x5' square (it sounds like a big area.... but if ladies get drunk they will thank you for it cause they arent falling off teh edge)
place some carpet or some sort of covering over top
wahlah a stripper pole that costs less than 50-60 bucks
i had one in my college apartment.... it was cheap and easy to make.... just make sure it is all completely square..... and anchor where you can
