One of these instead
I dunno man, the Jeeps are smaller, TJ's are newer, and I think there's a better aftermarket for them. I just can't see buying a K5. I dunno.

Dana 44s front and rear for the 06s. with the 4" i put on my dads 33s its amazing how much better it handles offroad. Chris if i were you i would go with a long arm kit, a bit more of pita to install but you get alot more articulation and nicer ride.
Yeah the Rubicons get the Dana 44 front and rear, and have the 4:1 transfer case. I'll work on my dad for the long arm kit, but he doesn't like the idea of cutting off the stock control arm mounts, so it may be an uphill battle. We'll see though. I would prefer it that way.

Long arm is worth it for sure, if it was me Id go with the 6" and 35s with a high offset, the 4/33 setup like I put on my dads is good but its still kind low. Either way you will probably want to do the slip yolk eliminator kit.

Well good then, I never looked into it because my dads is an unlimited that didnt require any driveline mods for a 4" and I knew better then to ask my dad about further mods. It started out as just a lift and tires, then the bumper, winch, 8 lights, rear tire carrier, rock sliders, tow bar, and roof rack got added on to his wish list which I of course got the pleasure of installing.

Yeah I'm sure I'll get there too. I already priced out almost $9000 worth of parts that it should get. I think I convinced my dad that we need a long arm kit too, just gotta let him think through it a little bit more. If he still has doubts, I'll have him call a couple of the local offroad shops. That should put the nail in the coffin.

How bad was the lift install?
