I love my kershaw ken onion but the damn safety retainer thing for the blade always breaks. Its not that big of a deal though since so far it hasnt tried to open up while in my pocket. I love them though especially with the hal serrated blade.

Safeties on A/O knives are pretty useless IMO. I've never used one on my A/O knives, and most newer knives don't even come with safeties.

Carried my ZT0551 all day today, it's a little large but it's just too damn nice of a knife to not carry. These pics aren't mine, but they definitely show the quality of this thing.

$200 is steal for this knife. Others similar to it go for double the price, if not more.

Honestly though, I own many knives in the 50-150 range. This one makes them all feel like toys...

Eh my 50 buck kershaw has been getting the job done for damn near 10 years I dont need a badass knife to just say I have one. Why do you "need" such a high quality knife for every day use? If its just to have then I understand but Id bet my "cheap" kershaw can do everything that knife can...

The steel is much harder, so it will hold a hair popping edge much longer. Aesthetically it looks amazing (to me at least) and I like carrying it and showing it to others. It's a limited edition so it has exclusivity, and I like carrying something higher quality than most. Just like some people are with watches (John) or others with cars.

Can your $50 Kershaw do most of what this knife can do? Probably, it's only a knife after all. But I promise you it doesn't feel the same in your hand if you were to compare them. Most people probably don't care about that, and really I never have either. But since I've been buying higher priced knives lately, it's becoming an expensive habit wanting nicer things. There's absolutely nothing wrong with your Kershaw, they make amazing knives. Kershaw (KAI) actually produces Zero Tolerance (my new knife), and I have always loved every Kershaw I've owned.
