My perfect truck would be an 09 f350 cclb black fx4 with a duramax in it but last time I checked that truck isn't made

 

I was just telling my wife that. If I could slap a duramax in to the Ford, that would be my truck for sure.

 

Yep, great trucks are built not bought.

I had to put a 6'' lift on mine to sit about as high as dodge or ford does factory.

I was mad that my 3/4 ton came with dinky 245's from the factory.

Man i love that new Denali Dmax, my dream truck!

 

allison trans?

 

I could go either way. The Ford trans is much stronger in stock form, but with my right foot it would have to be rebuilt and at that point a built Allison is right on the same plane. I suppose the Allison would be good to go with the duramax. Hell a GM hd truck would be perfect for me if the cab was just bigger.

It's going to be a year or so before I can make a move into any vehicle so I've got plenty of time to figure out what I want to do. It'll probably depend a lot on what I can snag a good deal on at the time I'm ready to buy.
