Default Need some advice on getting rid of a car chassis

Here's the situation....

Last November I bought an 85 Supra from a guy in town. He had another parts car (basically an 84 Supra chassis with the engine and tranny included but not in the car) that he would let me have for free if I came and picked it up. So I did. No title, but I didn't think it was a problem since I wouldn't need to register the car or anything.

Well, a year later I decide that it's sat in my backyard long enough and I need to haul it off to the scrap yard. Problem is, no scrap yard will take it without a title. The guy I got it from has changed his phone number, so I can't get ahold of him. Called the police department and had them check...not stolen. Called DMV to see how to get a title for the car....long process, and I have to put up 1.5 times the value of the car to get a bonded title that I have to hold for 3 years before I can get a "real" title.

All I want to do is haul the car off to the scrap yard. I'd even pay someone to come get it. Anyone got any ideas? I don't want to put up the money or go through the hassle of getting the bonded title for a car that's going to the junk yard anyway. I *think* I remember where the guy lives...might go knock on his door and tell him he's getting the car back, but if I can't remember how to get there that won't help either. What else can I do short of dumping it in the desert somewhere?

Cut it up into pieces and then take it as scrap metal

It's free to me apparently. I don't get anything for the car, but I don't want anything for it except for it to be gone, so I guess it works well both ways.
