Default need help woth girlfriends car

well ive been getting a bad vibration from my girls car for about the past 3 months. always thought it needed a balance but after having the tires balanced twice, i just realized yesterday the vibration is coming from the engine. it vibrates really bad if your on the accelerator from 30mph to 50mph. anything below or above that no problem. if i let the car roll from 70mph and slow by itself all the way to 30mph i dont get any vibration but once i hit the gas it will vibrate as long as its at 30mph to 50mph. also dont know if this is normal or not but the engine shakes when you pull the dipstick out while the engine is on. i recently did this and once i took it out the engine started shaking pretty good and stopped once i put the dipstick back in. i just hit 3000 miles since my last oil change and noticed it had used about a quart and a half of oil.

no check engine light is on, so im not sure what the problem could be. could it maybe be the motor mounts? the car is a 2006 volkswagen passat. thanks fellas

jack up the drive wheels, start it and see if you can find it. its not the safest way, but it is effective.

also, with it running, pull one plug wire at a time and see it that changes anything. you might have a coil going dead on you.

not sure if it has anything to do with it...but i think the dipstick thing has to do with air in the crankcase. Without the dipstick in they shake like a SOB, put it in and it stops. Duct tape it down. lol
