Well guys here are my mods
2008 4.8 rated at 295hp
112 radix@6psi
edelbrock shorty headers
cats deleted
3 inch dynatech muffler
ported tb
k-n cold air box
ls6 zo6 cam w/springs
vette servo
factory 3.23's one tire fire
np tune(mail tune)
now mods on the way....
90mm j-tube
4.10 tru-trac
thats my goal guys to run low 12's with this little 4.8 /later it will get pulled for a 6.0 and then it should have no problem .

The true track and gearing is going to make a big difference. Get some slicks and heat them up. The speed was good for a high 12 sec run. You don't need to mod a bunch, you need to get the power down to the ground!

if the true trac doesnt do it, i would get a nice stall. the 4.8's just dont make torquw down low.. a good 2600+ stall and true trac with DR's will def do what you want.
