need camaro info for my dad's birthday
#1
so my dad's birthday is coming up in a month and I want to get him something. He is the origional owner of an all origional 1977 Z28 Camaro. I wanted to get him some replacement stainless steel plug wires that he probably bought 20 years ago as well as a rebuild kit for his rochester carb. I have looked around but cannot seem to find a good forum to find info about the motor on or really know of any good places to look for parts/vendors. I want to try and do this without asking him too. I know his plans this year are new plugs/wires, replace header gaskets, carb rebuild kit, as well as a MSD distributor. anyone know of any good places to find these things at?

haha i dont think he has ever taken it to the track. would be cool though. its just a thrill getting to cruise in it though. just gotta decide on a few things though for this year.
i know he wants the plugs/wires/rebuild carb kit for the rochester quad. suspension needs a little freshening at least in the rear to raise it up a bit its sagging pretty good, but its like a lowering kit lol. he still has the origional wheels but needs tires so either the BFG muscle car radials or getting some nice new wheels and tires while keeping the origionals.
im trying to talk him into some billet specialties like these or something:

thats where i got the replacement front seat cover's they were pretty good quality. i may have found it at classic industries, they said it went obsolete in 1990 after only being made for the red/black z28 models in 1977. 75 bucks for a tiny thing dang lol.
