I hate the feeling of getting used to mods. I always loved the feeling after a new mod, but it always goes away so quickly. Hell, driving my truck now doesn't feel much different from when it was stock. I HATE that feeling.
Don't you guys hate that?
I need to start saving for tranny work ASAP so I can make this thing faster

YES!! I understand 100% as I think most will. Even a little mod like a set of shocks makes me feel all warm inside but after a week or so I need to do something. My truck feels slow to me, really. I have to get in the passenger seat for a few minutes to realize it isn't, or drive another car.
It's a sickness you know? One thing leads to another and next thing you know it's costing you a fortune just to get a little more out of it

Aww hell, what you need to do is go to a local dealership and find a used stock truck similar to your own and go take it for a "test ride", after that you will feel much better driving home in your own truck!

Personally, I think Crack would be cheeper.
I got started in 03 with a 96 Z28. Modded the crap out of that, all blot ons, got it to about 315/340 and sold it after a year for an 01 WS6. Told the wife..."its already fast, I wont be doing too much..."
Right. Solid Motor Mounts later, traded that for an 02 Z71, honestly thinking that I wouldn't have any interest in modding a truck. Then I found PT.net, and it began all over again. Light bolt ons and a custom flame paint job later...
At this point, the I was driving the Z71, whooping on most Dodge's, and the wife had an Explorer Sport Trac(what a piece of crap that was). Traded the Sport Trac for my 03 SSS. Now I am driving the SSS and the wife has the Z71 (just a set of LTs/ORY and tune). Commute got a bit longer when we moved to Florida, and I traded the Z71 for my 97SS. The wife is driving the SSS (its got a home made ram air, tuned and train horns) and I drive the 97SS. I just ordered 1.6 RR, LT4 Knock Module, new LT's (the current ones cracked).
