So what's a factory converter weigh? Isn't it 50# or 51#? My guess of 175# was pretty close.

The converters are 25-35lbs if I had to guess depending on the diameter. The weight I gave you before came out of my gm hydramatic book.

I was told my convertor is 6-7# lighter than factory. My stall is 44# ship wtg., so I just did the math.

I'll have to look at some of the converter boxes at the shop for weights next week. I do know that the CD's seem to be heavy compaired to others.

Billy, does billet cover perhaps factor in?

Light at the end of the tunnel. I charged my phone after I tried the little trick my bro told me about. SO after 4 days total w/. no cell, I'm back in business. My phone functions like normal after dryin out. I hope my luck is turning around.

what tip is that? i set mine in a puddle of water on a table all night one time, found out a tip that using a halogen garage work light and putting the phone under like a heat lamp to dry it out, worked really well actually..
