Man, I hope that there's nothing wrong with this mystical tire! Imagine if you get it and they can't get it to balance? That would be the topper!

It gets better. Only 3 shops in town are, ahhh. fitting/ plumbing specialists. I went to 2. My fav place is no longer my fav., may not do biz there again, unless I do -AN on this tranny project.
Guy I normally dealt w/. at my favorite plumb/fitting shop, you'd tell him what you're tryin to do & if you're unsure what parts u need, he'll tell u. He was a racer type, even if he drove a Suburu. He left in Jan; they now have a new bldg, new counter guy, & I can't see parts to conceptualize cause showroom is gone!!!

I tell new guy what I'm tryin to do, "Plumb -AN from end to end on tranny, any idea on what size at tranny & rad?"

Reply, "No, normally people just come in & tell me what they want. I'm not really a car guy"

I'm just dumbfounded. I thought, not a car guy, & u work @ a specialty auto/ marine hydraulics/ plumbing-fitting shop???!!! He's just a face man who walks over to a computer, looks up & goes to get it.
What ever happened to good ole customer service?!? Knowledgable too?

I went to 2nd place, he too said he wasn't really a car guy either, but had a better idea. He had a clue, & that place will prolly be who I deal w/. Plus, he gave me a contact # for a guy that can come out to me, & id. what size fitting into/out of trans & rad.

Finally, a (+) step.

I can't go to track cause my tire didn't come in. They said Wed. or Thur., I'd just hoped it'd be Wed. cause I wanted to break my new tire in right. At the track! Kinda turned a corner in the good news dept. tho. Tire will be here Thur. After I found out, I scheduled my dyno appt. for Fri.

Finally some positives, in addition my my FLT L7. FLT rocks!

Funny story it has happened to me as well! The best thing to do is take the battery out asap. Then you need to dry it out right then and there. In my case I was at the shop and used brake cleaner with some type of electrical cleaner in it. With the use of an air gun I saved mine. It did act a little funny for a couple days but it did survive once it totally dried out. Man it just does not stop for you does it.

You better get that trans installed soon. Billy's converter is here and the trans is waiting on me to put it together. BTW Tom I see you have a little feedback........
