it wasn't the original shot, it's the 5 extra after he was down that they're calling murder. I however think it's still self defense. I've always been tought to shoot until there is no longer a threat and a man laying on the ground shot with a gun close to him is definitely still a threat in my book.

I never believe everything the news says, dunno about a OK laws.
but if his life was endangered then yea self defense...
if he was tryin to robb them, then it kinda depends on the story and if there were any weapons involved.

If there wasnt a video camera it would be a dead mans word vs his...

 

Self Defense to a point.

The guy that went down shot... If he was already wounded and giving up, he shouldn't have been finished off unless he was still trying to shoot at the pharmacist.

You can always just go move the gun away from the Perp

 

i wanna say murder, but that young punk should have not been robbing. you also just cant unload your gun on someone that is already hurt and on the ground.. shoot him once maybe twice, tie him up wait for cops everything would have been ok.

 

I had heard of the issue earlier last week on the news. I am kind of on the fence on it. The news said he was unconscious, but at the same time there were two of them, one supposedly armed.

The biggest problem I have is that they said he actually went and got a second pistol to finish off the kid who was already unconscious on the ground. Had he feared for his life and immediately finished him off it would have been a bit more justified, but to actually go back behind the counter and get another pistol is pretty weird.

 

I woulda shot that sombitch too! Self defense all the. The little piece of **** was still a threat until he took his last breath

 

Apparently the first gun was a single shot or only had 1 bullet, he had another gun that was fully loaded.

Apparently he's never heard of Excessive Force. I'da shot the guy too but I wouldn't have walked up to him and finished him off. I'da made sure he was un armed and called the police.

 

one more thing if you own a gun for self defense please know the damn law! you cant do everything you think just because someone is breaking in your house or robbing you. yes its dumb but its the law.

 

I wouldve acted the exact same. That ****** went in there with the intent to harm if not kill the pharmacist and instead got laid the **** out! Don't pull your **** unless you're ready to use it
