I give it about 3/4 throttle off the line, then mash it. If I mash it off idle, it bogs, same if I stall it up. I need a converter...bad

Brake stall it as high as it will go. ~2500 in my case. I find this also helps me concentrate on the light and cut better reaction times for some reason.

The few times that I've gone to the track I seemed to have the best results stalling it up as high as it would go (up against the converter). I tried mashing it from idle and it was just a mess...

I brake stall it to about 2600 rpm to load the suspension then let off to about 2300 then let 'er buck when the lights drop.

I tried launching off idle, 1000 rpm, 1300 rpm, etc. and its all about the same for me for some reason. It just feels better launching at a higher rpm so that's where I keep it.

I just roll into the throttle...anywhere from half to 3/4 throttle @ launch depending on tires/track condidtions and full throttle by around 5-10mph...
