I'm curious how different guys launch with their set-ups...ie:, idle then mash it, bring the RPM's up so that you're up against the converter, bring RPM's up slightly, etc. I know that every truck and set-up is different, and different set-ups work with different methods, just curious what works for you

 

well. since im in a 5 speed its a little hard. lol. but ill heel toe it to around 2500, pop it and mash the gas.



(side note: might be why my trans sounds funny. lol)

 

I stall up ~1800

 

my truck stalls up to about 2k on the stock converter that seems to launch the best. I just smash it from a stop it spins like crazy

i stall 15-1800

My best 60ft to date (1.80) I stalled up to 2800-2900 then let it eat out of the hole. Looking at that log my converter flashed to 3700
