Did you even click the link?

For mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Weld with gas or perform flux cored gasless operations. Set up for flux core welding to start.

That would work good for the average guy who needs to do exhaust work, tack stuff, ect.

Not a bad buy IMO.

"Mig" means wire feed welder with gas..Flux Core is generally the term used when the welder uses no gas...then you would ask the question...."Can it run with gas as Mig"......hope this helps

Its almost like asking if a 99 LS1 Camaro will run on Gasoline....Its not a 80's VW Rabbitthat may run on either Gas or deisel...

Yeah but I'm pretty sure I've seen welders advertised as "Mig" but they didn't have the capability to run with gas. Some retailers just use the word "Mig" because that's what most people call them.

"migs" are advertised all the time that don't have the ability to run with gas, that is why I asked... thanks for the lesson though, I wrote it all down in my note pad for future reference...
