Thumbs down Met the dumbest Hemi owner ever!

I was on my way to town today when I pasted a black QC 4x4 Hemi with Euro taillights. Not a big deal I dont look at the QC 4x4 as a threat. So at the next stoplight he was pointing me to roll down my window.

HE Said, "Hey boy, you think you cant beat me in that thing."

My Response "Yeah, and it aint stock."

He said well my truck had some work done to it as well.

My response, "OK".

Now from the look of it the motor was dead silient (No whining sound) the exhaust was stock.

He said well, lets run em then he turns right and Im in the left lane. There was noone around so I turned and followed. Then I see the guy get on his cell phone and we went about 5-6 blocks and nothing happened with 2 stoplights in between, but they were only 1 lane roads and I knew that there was nothing but them for about 7 miles. So I turned off thinking he could be calling the police. But come on what a idot a 300 rwhp rcsb vs a seemingly stock QC 4x4 not even fun.

I had a guy in a short box regular cab with the legendary HEMI in it eyeing me up yesterday afternoon. I thought cool, this will be fun because he thinks he can smoke me. My upper boost is only set to 7psi right now but I figured what the hell. He kept looking over and as we came to the next light he heard my whistle. I don't know if thats why he backed off but he slowed down and let me get ahead a ways. I thought here we go, the ricer fly by....
I was waiting for him to pull some stupid **** but he turned right at a side street, I was like WTF. I was kind of bummed, it would have been the first victim after I put my boost controller on too.
His truck had the big *** HEMI//////////////////// sticker on the back top of the bed, it was red orange and yellow, you could not miss it from a mile off.
The trucks look pretty intimidating to the not in the know crowd, I think thats why he had his chest puffed out when I came up next to him with my little tiny Chevy.
Maybe next time.

There was one at the track Saturday night picking on stock extended cabs(he has a single cab with a few mods running 14.9). On the last pass...he ran solo and started getting some serious noise from under the hood. They finally decided that it had broke a rod. He didn't want any of dirty, though(wonder why?).

Why do guys that drive HEMI's for the most part think they are invincible? Not saying all are like that but more of them than any other truck driver seem to have that mentality.

What is really bad is that the fastest Hemi the 426ci wasnt even the fastest production engine during that time. It was close but just the best thing chrysler had. It was a great engine but the catchy name "hemi" and the folowing is what dodge is riding on and it is working. The new mini-hemi (i call it) Isn't quite like the original head design, but close enough for them to call it that I guess.

I had a similar occurance guy runs past me in his hemi drving aggressively I get next to him he looks over and I just dust his ***, dont know if he was racing or not but he acted like he wanted too. Next thing he gets behind me on the phone and writes down my tag. So I do a loopty get behind him at the next light write his tag down blow my horn and make sure to give him a nice curtious thumbs down. Jackass alot of guys buy into the hemi hype if they had the ability to program em they would be something.
