Default Magnuson / Kugel Bonniville Car

This car is being build to go 200 MPH in August at Speed week. Forgive the shitty pics, I think I had the camera on the wrong setting. Jerry Kugel's Daughter will be piloting the car for the record setting run. Powered by a forged crank/rods/piton AFR headed LQ9 with a 2300 TVS @ 25 psi The motor was set in on Thursday and the show started Friday so its not 100% done.

Ya think?!? Dunno bout u, but I for 1, would not pilot an open air car to 200. A closed cabin that I felt safer in & if I felt it was stabile @ speed, hmm...Still crazy, but...

Indy cars are open.
Cool looking ride, let us know how close it gets to 200.

Ain't nuthin like blastin accross the salt in a blown roadster!! What class? Just off the top of my head it looks like C/BSR. Good choice, I know Joe Law blew the AA/BSR to something close to 270. Can't remember what Thacker and Shine ran theirs in. I know the AA/BFR record is somewhere near 300. The Kugel's have TONS of experience at the salt, so I'm sure she'll get her hat.

FYI, I never did update this....The car went 201 on 6 psi, this was after driving it to the salt from Los Angeles.
