Sorry to hear about the fracture Cody....you'll be shifting fine on a bike in a few months as long as you do a little rehab for range of motion. You are young enough that such things will heal very well. The walking boot will definately be better than the splint you are in now.
Nice thing is, like trever said he doesn't have a fibula, cause you can do without it....just be glad you didn't snap the big bone......that usually buys you a titanium nail that is inserted in the hollow part of the bone after reaming out the marrow.

i got's me one in the tib and one in the femur....mine are stainless, i cheaped out.

WINTER?? You live in TEXAS....... It will only get cold if circulation is affected, I am refering to the wonderfull soreness that you will get when its cold. Also when its going to rain and the Baro pressure drops it gets sore.. At least mine does.
