they were stage 2 ls6 heads with stock valves (dont think they make them with stock valves anymore). the machine shop i took them opened the bowls to match the 4" bore of the 6.0, put 2.02/1.57 ferrea valves into it, added bronze valve guides, set the seat pressure, re-ported the intake and exhaust runners and milled them to 63.5cc.

That's what I was wondering about.. I have cnc'd ones with stock size valves had them milled to 59cc chmabers for my lq4. Maybe I will get to put em on in a week or two. Yours pick up a good bit when you originally installed them?

Looking forward to seeing what your truck does with the 6.0

craig gallant. of GTP. my heads already had springs and CNC work so my quote may be totally off base from what you would get. just shoot them a call and ask. Craig is very helpful and FULL of information.

with the stock valve patriot ported LS6 heads at 11.0:1, i went from 12.49 to 12.19 N/A with the heads being the only change.

i had good results from patricks last cam (gained 20hp over 226/226 cam). i decided to stick with him let him do his magic.

235/243 .610/.627 112+2

its for the 4.30 gear and 4,000 converter (will flash higher on dope) i'm ordering it up in about 30 minutes. now i have to learn how to cut pistons. hope i dont F it up lol.
