Default Just a small engine

Was told to check out this video of a 24 cylinder detroit diesel with the addition of a few BDS 8-71 blowers.

http://http://youtu.be/m48vyc5beNg

Just think of the time to shoe it into a truck.

And just the cool factor of having 3428 horsepower

Just a few bucks sitting there. Wonder what the torque number was.

I would have to guess somewhere in the range of over 6k in torque. As a guide that I was told while at tech school its usually two to one (hp to tq).
I would be happy to have what the guy has in the block and the fuel system. To add the custom intake manifold and the 12 8-71 blowers would be nice too.

He was going to be putting it in to a hot rod style 379 peterbilt. And it too will be heavily modified to fit and look cool too.

And to add that he must not have been happy with the numbers in this vid
