all i can say is that using a fm/am station to broadcast your music sucks.... i have a cable to hook an ipod um in my truck! just plugs into the aux audio video cables... then the other end has a large headphone jack in it! sounds 10000000 times better the over the radio......and just use the headphones at work!
oh yea and when an ipod is plug in to the AV cord in the truck it chargers!!! so you dont need a docking station!!

i doubt my CAT brand radio has an iPod hookup...the fm transmitter will be just fine for what i'm using it for
