Default Fire Pit

Me and my Girlfriend bought a house and we should be gettin it the 31st..and im wantin to put in some kind of fire pit in my back yard, has any one ever built one of these and what did you make it out of?

we dug a hole and then made a frame to stick down in it with a screen on top...it stuck out of the ground about a foot or so think

The one in Stillwater I made I just dug about a 2 feet hole deep about 7 feet in diameter then put sand into it and finished it off with decorative brick going around it. I let it grow over now so it isn't much of a pit now...

yeah there's really not much to it...dig a pretty big hole then make it as fancy as you want...

i think i might go out east of cresent and get me some of that red rock out there..and put that around it...i always loved goin to the lake and building a hell of a fire and drinkin beer till 3 or 4 in the mornin
